My 17 month old Stinky Godzilla baby

Mommy has really failed at updating over the past few months, but there has not been a tone of change. About a month ago you went to your 15 month check up (late) due to insurance issues and you were 21lbs 12oz you had not gained weight in a month. The month before that you went over the little knot in your abdomen. You have a little hernia that sticks out and the doctor said it is okay. You are mumbling some works but they are hard to make out. I am worried about your speech. The only things you say clear is "mama".

You are BAD BAD BAD and you LOVE to scream. You like to climb on everything. Jacob's wheel chair, the high chair, you push stuff over to the changing table and climb the changing table so you can pull the wipes out of the package...the list goes on and on.

You are a good eater and and you throw toddler fits when you don't get your way. You are fondly called Stinky and Godzilla. You don't seem to mind and come to them. You like to climb in the bath tub fully clothed 1st thing in the morning while I am showering Jacob. Then you think it is funny.

Right now you are definitely a mama's girl. You will push people away from me..daddy, brother, sister and yell and throw your body over me so no one else is touching me or has my attention. Then you proceed to tourcher me and pull my hair, pick my nose, smack me, take my cell phone, or just sit on my head..just depends on your mood.

You by far are the most naughty baby out of all of my babies and keep me on my toes...but I love that I get to be home with you and be part of you Godzilla behavior everyday. I love you to pieces baby Godzilla.

14 months old

Hi Godzilla! You are a climber, a daredevil of sorts. Daddy was in charge the other day while I was out of the house. I left you in your highchair eating breakfast when I left. I was late coming home and daddy had to go to work. So, as I was pulling in the driveway he was getting in his work car. I had to go to the bathroom so I ran to my room when I walked though the door. I heard you squeaking and making noise...a similar sound that you make when sitting in your highchair. I was thinking man I'm going to yell at your daddy for leaving you in the highchair so long! *(that is where I left you) Nope! not in the highchair. I found you standing on top of the glass end table in the living room on the very edge hanging onto Jacob's feeding pump pole. You also had to climb over Jacob to get there. You sometimes use Jacob as a chair. Not really sure why you think it is okay to climb and sit on him whenever you want. You have 8 teeth. No new words really. Kinda concerned you are not mimicking more words yet. You eat like a champ and refuse nothing. I love every minute I have with you even when you are driving me nuts climbing on me every time I sit down. We have been cloth diapering for a little over a month now. It is the only thing you do not take off. When mommy is lazy we use disposable diapers with cloth over the top.

You are quite the hand full! You climb everything! You think screaming is for recreational fun.  You find, target, and destroy anything you see fit, mainly peoples' food dishes drinks, dipping sauces etc. We LOVE to find the small "chocking hazard" toys come walk in front of mommy show that you have it in your mouth and then dart the other direction running and laughing...BUT my biggest pet peeve is your nude streak. So, your bedroom smells like an old dirty pee filled diaper. Why you ask? BECAUSE you like to take your diaper off A LOT! You have mastered regular diapers, diapers with shorts over them, diapers on backwards, diapers on backwards with a cloth diaper over them also on backwards with shorts. I have put you to bed in a diaper, diaper cover and full 2 piece pjs and have still found you completely naked. You have learned to pull diapers down when you can't undo the tabs. It is really hot and I'd hate to put you in full zip up sleepers, so I guess mommy will be going to the store to buy onesies. We have been getting in the pool a lot over the last few weeks. You like it but you still cling to mommy. I can't believe you are over 13 months old now. You have added "no, no" to your vocabulary. Grandma and grandpa from Alabama just left yesterday. They were here for a week. We went to the beach last Sunday. You were fearless. You just walked strait for the water. You had a TON of sand in your bathing suit when we got home. I held a tiny newborn today for the 1st time since you were that age. Most of my friends have had their babies and are done, very few are still having babies, so seeing this little boy today pulls on my heart to do it again. Then I come back home and think WHAT WAS I THINKING? You and your siblings are enough for me at the moment. Who know how I will feel later. Godzilla, even though you are having some "terrible 2s" way early, I cherish every single day God has blessed me with you and your sister and brothers. I am so thankful that I have the opportunity to stay at home with you so you can spit at me, pinch me, bite me, and pee on the floor so I can slip in it.

My OH my! Your ONE!..and 13 months old (minus 6 days) because mommy posted late

Where has the time gone? I am extremely late on this post you are almost 13 months old so I guess this post will be a 2 for 1. We went out to dinner for your birthday and had a birthday cake made for you. You were not a fan of the cake. You cried when it got on you. Mommy stopped pumping milk about a week ago. So we made it to 1 year and 2 weeks almost 3. You still have quite a bit of frozen milk we are working though, but have also started you on more solids and whole milk.

You are a mischievious one little girl. You have been walking and now running very well for a while now. I even seen you pulling something and walking backward today. You can now take a step down into the livingroom and step over the rail on the baby gate without crawling. You also got your first big scratch. You fell on something...really have no clue what, but you got a knot on the right side of your forhead with some scrapes. Will probably be your 1st scar.

You yell in delight. You like to ride on this zebra toy thing. You have just really come out of the "baby" stage and are a toddler. You think you are the boss. I just had to yell at you for sitting on your brother Jacob's head. You try to run with the big kids. I notice you have become more cuddly. You want to be held now. You fall asleep in my arms before afternoon nap some days. You love for me to hold you in the pool. Ava still adores you. I look at you and can't believe I started this blog when I 1st found out I was pregnant with you and see how far we have come today. I thank God you are healthy and would rather be yelling at you for being naughty than have it any other way. You are jumping so hard on the zebra toy, I'm just waiting for you to fall off.

Still no new words or signs, but definately starting to understand what we are saying better. I have heard you say NO and then mama, dada, and baba. I took you for your 1 year old check up a few days ago. You were 22lbs 4oz and I believe 31 inches long. Your head was 18. Overall you were about 75 percential all around. You got the rest of your shots and were pretty mad at me for about 10 minutes. Doctor told me you are just perfect. You have 4 teeth on the top and 3 on the bottom now.

I love you so much and so does everyone else in our family. This year has been a joy and I am so glad mommy was able to stay home with you the entire year and that we met our breastfeeding goal. I look forward to a lifetime of memories with you. My baby Hannahkins.

OH AND YOU ARE THE WORST DIAPER REMOVING CHILD I HAVE EVER HAD. I have to keep pants on you all the time or the diaper is off!

11 months old

You are walking almost all the time now and you finally finally finally started holding your bottle! Halliluyah You follow everyone around the house. You like to carry any random thing you can in your hands. You love eating trash, dog food, important papers etc. You still prefer breast milk in your bottles, but are getting better about drink water down apple juice and eating table food. You have 6 teeth now the 2 front teeth finally broke through the gums. Your main words are still mama, baba, and dada.

10 months old

Princess Hannah. You give me that look your lucky I'm wearing the bow. Your not getting a 4 tooth smile out of me!

Okay, I'm a little behind on posting, but I still managed to post before you turn 11 months old. This month you learned how to WALK! You have been threatening us with your desire to walk for a few weeks. Standing up, trying to take a step and then falling. You were even managing to turn in circles standing without holding on to anything. We had to go out of town last Thursday night 3/21 because your great Grandma Bonnie passed away and we went to Alabama/Tennessee to be with you grandma Beth. The day we came home 3/27 you decided to balance yourself with a few items in your hands and just started walking across the room. You can take about 20 steps or so before you fall, but usually get right back up and start again. I can't believe you are almost a year old already! Today is your 1st Easter. You look so CUTE in your pink dress and the bow mommy made for you! You enjoyed pulling everything out of your Easter basket and chewing up candy with the wrappers still on it that you brother and sister left within your reach.

9 months old

Little girl, TIME FLIES WHEN YOUR HAVING FUN. (or when you have 4 children under 5) Nothing really new to report. You are crawling all ove the house. You follow us around likea hungry puppy. yesterday Ava caught you standing up on your own for about 3 seconds and daddy seen you do it earlier...mommy has not seen it yet. You still will not hold your bottle and prefer to lay down and have it propped, but you do atleast grab it and bring it to your mouth. You still babble "ma-ma" and "ba-ba".

If I have not mentioned it before mommy started making bows early December and even named her facebook page after you. Hannah Bow Bannah Boutique. Ironically you hate headbands and all things touching your head. The other day I discovered I could get the tiniest little sprout of hair in a baby rubberband and I have used this to my advantage. I have managed to keep a few bows on your head for a few hours. Yay!

8 month old update

You crawl everywhere and pull up to stand all day long. You don't fall as much as you used to. You are a human vacuum cleaner. You put EVERYTHING in your mouth and you are way more demanding than ever. You scream like you are injured when you are not getting your way. You still drink breast milk, but you are eating a lot more baby food now. You LOVE vegetable over fruits. You follow me around the house all day. You really love Ava. You get really excited when she comes home from school to play. No new teeth yet, but you sure are trying to get the through. You and daddy communicate in your spit at each other language. You are such a joy to have in our lives. I love you more every day.
